Hi! I’m Asia Watson, a public relations major at Auburn University graduating magna cum laude in December 2026.

My experience spans PR agencies, digital content creation, social media management, and music instruction, where I’ve built strong skills in fast-paced, detail-oriented environments.

During Spring 2026, I interned at JMG Public Relations, an award-winning agency based in New York. As a PR Intern, I drafted press materials, briefing documents, and competitor analyses for a wide range of clients, including Chef Aarthi, Brooklyn Dumpling Shop, and influencer Keith Lee. My support contributed to coverage in media outlets such as Associated Press, The New York Times, and Inside Edition.

I am a member of The Oaks Agency, a student-run PR firm, where I serve on the Digital Design Committee. I draft content for clients, including CARE Humane Society, Opelika Main Street, and Redeeming Grace Ministries.

At Fetii, I work as the Social Media Manager for Fetii Auburn, where I grew the Instagram follower count to over 5,000 in the first six months and generated 2.1 million views in a single month through strategic content.

At Spicer’s Music, I’m a music instructor with four years of experience and have taught over 100 students various instruments. I develop individualized lesson plans and improve student performance.

As an Air Force ROTC cadet, I worked as the Public Affairs Flight Commander in 2025, where I managed the detachment’s social media, led the PA team, and documented training events. Additionally, I completed Field Training, an intensive leadership development program.

Across my experiences, I’ve focused on strategic communication, audience engagement, and measurable results, and I look forward to growing my career in public relations!
